Machine Learning Engineer (Team Lead)

• Research and implement appropriate ML algorithms and tools using deep learning and artificial neural networks
• Designing AI/ML pipelines
• Train and retrain systems, classifiers, and networks when necessary
• Extend existing ML libraries and frameworks
• Being a leader bringing energy, growth mindset to challenge engineers for excellence
• Determine project requirements and developing work schedules for the team
• Delegate tasks and achieving daily, weekly, and monthly goals
• Document, summarize, and present findings to a group of peers and stakeholders. across multiple modeling projects
• Work with data team to acquire clean data and labelling
• Work with dev team to deploy the applications

Qualification

• Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field
• 5+ years full-time work experience
• Expert knowledge and hands-on experience with Python, PyTorch or TensorFlow and packages commonly used for Machine Learning and Deep Learning or other programming languages
• Proven experience in and understanding of NLP or machine vision
• Experience with public cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure) or deployment of web service
• Proficient in English with excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Self-starter. Can work with minimal amount of supervision.
• Passionate about your work and its performance that it upset or at least makes you wonder why other people’s model performs better.
• Programming and hacking and trying new packages out is your hobby.
• Have the desire to prove your idea right but always open to team’s opinion. Judge everything based on evidence.
• Experience in leading a team, working with young engineers, whether big or small.
